WORLDWIDE ONLINE LAUNCHES I-NET SERVICE IN NEW YORK CITY PROVIDES BORDERLESS COMMUNICATIONS WITH TORONTO PARTNER


NEW YORK CITY -- July 1, 1996 -- Teledotcom, Inc.(www.nytele.com), a leading provider of telecommunications systems and services for growing businesses in metropolitan New York and the surrounding tri-state area, today announced that it has launched Internet access and Internet-related services in New York City in conjunction with its’ joint marketing agreement partner, the Toronto-based Worldwide Online Corporation, a subsidiary of Worldwide Data Inc. (NASD. BB: WWDI).

The joint marketing agreement will allow transportable access of service in New York (www.wwonline-ny.com) and Toronto (www.wwonline.com). Other Internet-telephony services are under development and will soon be announced shortly.

"This agreement is a natural progression from our traditional telephone business," says founder and president of Teledotcom, Jim McGuire. "It enables Teledotcom to bring practical and useful Internet tools to our New York customers which will, in turn, enhance their productivity."

Teledotcom will provide a variety of Internet access and hosting services from their West 19th Street headquarters. Personal computer users will be able to select from either the $8.95 per month Buyway service, which includes ten hours of monthly access, or the Highway service, which allows unlimited access for $19.95 per month.

Teledotcom’s online customers will receive, at no cost, Worldwide Online’s Internet Anywhere software package developed by the Open TextTM Corporation of Waterloo, Ontario. Worldwide Online’s Internet AnywhereTM access software integrates a broad range of popular Internet applications, including Netscape NavigatorTM Web Browser, Microsoft ExplorerTM, Eudora LiteTM electronic mail, USENET news reader, HoTMetaLTM 2.0 Web page editor, and an Internet learning center into a friendly and easy to use desktop environment.

Subscribers will also be provided with an easy to use Windows program, CYBERsitterTM, which provides the capability to filter adult-oriented material and pornography on the Internet. CYBERSitter is licensed from Solid Oak Software, Inc. of Santa Barbara, California.

Commercial services including Web page hosting and design from $35 per month, and high-speed internet access from $350 per month, will also be available from Teledotcom.
